What
is Divine Worship?
Divine Worshipis the His Space Youth Worship Team. We are
under the leadership of the youth Pastors Tony and
Tina Martinez, and follow the vision of Faith Pleases
God Church’s Senior Pastors Kevin and Veronica
Ortiz. We lead worship every Wednesday night at 7:30.
We are in the growing stages and are preparing the
ground for more worshippers.
We
are called to have Divine Worship with God.
God
brought us into existence. We were created to worship.
Worship is simply spending time and being intimate
with God. We, as a worship team, are building up a
company of worshippers who live to magnify Him.

Question: Why do you worship?
Why
do people in love like spending time with each other?
Their love for each other compels them to see each other.
Well, God’s love for me compels me to spend time
with Him. When I wake up in the morning, I have no doubt
in my mind that I was created to worship Him. Nothing
anyone says can make me doubt my purpose in life. I
was made to worship Him in everything that I do. A friend
of mine once said “We invite God for Praise and
Worship Time and when the song is over… we leave
him there.” Praise and worship is not just meant
to be done during a church service. Your entire life
is meant to be a sign of worship unto God. Carry yourself
in greatness. You are a child of the King. Before you…
there was no you. He brought you into existence. There
is a reason you are alive. Rick Warren, the author of
The Purpose Driven Life, wrote “Being successful
and fulfilling your life’s purpose are not at
all the same issue.” Ephesians 1:11 (msg) reads,
“It’s in Christ that we find out who we
are and what we are living for…” I’ve
found my purpose. What’s yours? |
